A family affair to enjoy the beautiful weather of the spring season in Miami! The 21st anniversary of “The Great Taste of the Grove Food and Wine Festival” provided by The Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for April 16th and 17th, 2011. Expect this year’s event to be even bigger and better! The festival has a new partnership with Miami Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College along with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and GMCVB.
Even a new Green approach! THE GREAT TASTE OF THE GROVE FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL is going GREEN! Presenting high-end, cutting-edge components with new concepts for the first time full-scale “Sommelier Tasting Grove” and “Connoisseur Spirits Lounge” will provide guests with the opportunity to taste the best of the wine and spirits on the market. A special treat for guests because they will also be able to learn how to prepare cocktails for special occasions via live demonstrations. Including “Beans & Blends Coffee House” featuring coffees from around the world with newsstand/coffee shop feel to enjoy a cup while browsing the publications from the media partners.
TEKBOARD all-in-one touch-screen, interactive multimedia units will be available for the public to browse media partner sites, videos, and more. The Academy of Arts & Minds, Event Visions and Reflections will provide a diverse variety of music for guests to enjoy.
General Admission is FREE, Special VIP Admission is available for only $20.
The Great Taste of the Grove will offer a diverse mix of culinary delights provided by various area restaurants and available with the purchase of tickets ranging from $1 to $8. A portion of the proceeds from food tickets sales will benefit charitable community organizations. Those in attendance will also be treated to a stellar lineup of live entertainment from well-known local artists.
